What is the Metin2 Item Shop?

The Metin2 Item Shop is the official in-game store of the MMORPG. Currencies in the Item Shop: DR vs. DM

To purchase items in the shop, the system uses two interconnected currencies:

• Dragoncoins (DR): This currency is loaded directly via the Gameforge portal. It forms the basis for purchasing all regular items and time-limited offers in the shop.
• Dragon Marks (DM): When you spend Dragoncoins, your account automatically receives Dragon Marks as a bonus credit on a 1:1 ratio. There is a dedicated section in the Item Shop for these marks where you can purchase useful consumables such as potions or scrolls.

Premium Features (Comfort & Automation)

This includes the Third Hand, which automatically picks up dropped Yang for the player, and Extended Storage, which doubles the storage space for items. The paid version of Auto Hunt also allows you to use skills and potions in automatic combat mode.

EXP and Drop Boosts

Items such as the Experience Ring and Thief's Gloves from the Item Shop can be combined (stacked) with versions obtained in-game. They temporarily double the experience gained and the chance of obtaining valuable items from monsters and Metin Stones.

A recurring mini-game directly on the Item Shop user interface. For a cost of Dragoncoins, players can spin the wheel to win exclusive main prizes such as the Lollipop of Power or rare mount certificates with a bit of luck.

Flash Deals

Heavily time-limited special offers where certain items are unlocked in the shop at a significantly reduced price for a short time window.

Lightning Auctions (Countdown Auctions)

A competitive auction format with limited stock. A rare item starts at a maximum price that automatically decreases at fixed intervals. Players must strategically decide when the price is optimal – however, once the limited stock is depleted, the auction for that item ends immediately.

Regular Sales & Discounts

At regular intervals, discount promotions are held on everyday items. Additionally, special items are repeatedly added temporarily to the shop that are not part of the permanent standard rotation.
