What are Metin2 Events?
Metin2 Events are time-limited game content with special rewards that regularly refresh the gaming experience. From large seasonal events to daily drop events, Metin2 offers a varied event programme that constantly motivates players.
Events are one of the most important reasons why Metin2 still has an active player base after over 20 years. They offer exclusive items, progress boosters and social activities that enliven everyday gameplay. Players who consistently use events gain a significant advantage when levelling and farming.
Seasonal Events
Christmas Event
The Christmas events are among the most popular events of the year. Surrounded by winter decorations, players can exchange Santa's lost socks for presents in the Christmas Event. In the Snowflake Event, players can secure snowflake chests with valuable rewards. In the Okey Event, players can go monster hunting and secure Okey cards to win great prizes in the popular mini-game. Additionally, there is an Advent Calendar that gives a gift every day for daily logins.
Halloween Event
At Halloween, Metin2 transforms into a realm of spooks and scares. During this time of frights and terrors, the inhabitants of the three kingdoms dress in eerie-beautiful costumes, keep spooky pets and can win great prizes in the Yut-Nori Event.
Easter Event
The Easter Event brings egg collection quests, colourful decorations and seasonal rewards. During the event, players collect Easter eggs, which can be exchanged for sought-after items as rewards.
Valentine's Day Event
The Metinstones look particularly sweet to match the event. Players collect roses and chocolate in our Valentine's Event by defeating monsters, and can not only secure the sweet loot themselves, but also gift it to their favourite fellow players.
Ramadan Event
The Ramadan Event offers culturally relevant content and rewards for special players. It demonstrates Gameforge's commitment to a diverse and inclusive player community.
Event and Premium Servers
In Metin2 there are premium and event servers such as Tigerghost, Ruby and Sapphire, where drop events run twice daily. Additionally, there is the Moonlight Event and Fishing Puzzle Events every month, which provide even more variety and great loot.
Drop Bonus Events
Exp Events
During Exp Events, players receive more experience points during the event period and can level up faster.
Yang Bonus Events
Yang is the main currency in Metin2. During Yang Bonus Events, monsters drop more Yang, which speeds up upgrading and purchasing equipment.
Item Drop Boost Events
During the Drop Boost Events, drop rates are increased and players get more loot when defeating monsters.
Twitch Drops Integration
Metin2 integrates Twitch Drops: Watch selected Metin2 streamers on Twitch and receive exclusive items directly in your game account. These items are often cosmetic or boosters and are exclusive to Twitch Drops. This promotes both the community and content creators.
