Overview: Tigerghost Dungeon

The Tigerghost Dungeon is one of the classic group dungeons in Metin2 and for many players the first truly challenging instanced content. Accessible from level 75, it leads groups through 5 floors packed with tiger enemies, culminating in the mighty Tigerghost boss on the final floor. A well-coordinated group is essential for success.

The Tigerghost Dungeon is renowned not only for its drops, but also as an excellent exercise in group coordination. Here players learn what tank, healer, and DPS roles truly mean when working together — experience that proves indispensable in later, more demanding dungeons.

Requirements

  • Minimum level: 75
  • Recommended level: 78–85 for comfortable runs
  • Group size: Group recommended (4–5 players ideal)
  • Equipment: Solid level 70+ gear for all group members
  • Access: Via the dungeon entrance in the relevant zone

The 5 Floors of the Tigerghost Dungeon

Floor 1 — Entrance and Exploration

The first floor serves as an introduction to the dungeon's atmosphere. Standard tiger enemies patrol the corridors. The challenge is modest, but it is worth clearing every enemy to collect all potential drops. At the end of the floor lies the passage to floor 2.

Floor 2 — Stronger Tiger Guards

On the second floor the enemies grow noticeably tougher. Groups of tiger guards can quickly become overwhelming if you are not careful. The tank should draw aggression while the healer and DPS fulfil their roles clearly. Pull tactics help ensure you are not attacked by too many enemies at once.

Floor 3 — Elite Enemies Appear

From the third floor onwards, elite enemies appear — stronger versions with more HP and harder-hitting attacks. These should be prioritised in combat, as they drop better loot. The Shaman should already be actively healing and refreshing buffs at this stage.

Floor 4 — Mini-Bosses and Preparation

The fourth floor features mini-bosses that serve as a warm-up for the final boss. They have unique attack patterns and demand attentive positioning. Healers should manage their mana carefully in preparation for the upcoming boss fight. Refresh all buffs before moving on.

Floor 5 — Tigerghost, the Final Boss

The fifth and final floor leads directly to the Tigerghost boss. He is the strongest enemy in the entire dungeon and requires focused teamwork. The tank takes position directly in front of the boss, whilst the healer and DPS are positioned strategically around him.

Boss Strategy for Tigerghost

Tigerghost has several attack patterns you should be aware of:

Tigerghost's Attack Patterns

  • Melee attacks: Heavy strikes on the tank — the healer must heal continuously
  • Leap attack: Tigerghost leaps onto a random group member — dodge immediately
  • Battle roar: AoE attack in melee range — everyone except the tank should keep their distance
  • Enrage phase: At low HP, Tigerghost becomes faster and stronger — the healer must work more intensively

Recommended Positioning

The tank positions directly in front of Tigerghost and keeps the boss occupied. Ranged DPS (Ninja with bow) stays at a safe distance. Melee DPS attacks from the side, not from behind (risk of leap attack). The Shaman remains outside the AoE range and heals the tank continuously.
