What is the Tower of Hell?
The Tower of Hell — also known as the Devil Tower — is Metin2's most iconic solo dungeon. Across six increasingly demanding floors you fight your way alone through hordes of demons and ultimately face powerful bosses. No group content, no waiting for other players: the Tower of Hell tests your class and your skill entirely on your own terms.
The dungeon is rewarding for players across a wide level range — the higher your level, the more efficiently you can farm the valuable drops on the upper floors. At the same time it is an ideal place to practise your class in a controlled environment.
All 6 Floors at a Glance
Floors 1 and 2: Entry Level
The first two floors of the Tower of Hell are designed for lower to mid-level players. Here you encounter standard demons that are numerous but pose no serious threat. For high-level players these floors are mainly the passage to the rewarding upper storeys.
- Enemies: Low-tier demons, imps
- Difficulty: Low to moderate
- Rewards: Basic items and Yang
Floors 3 and 4: Mid-Level Challenge
From the third floor onwards the enemies become noticeably stronger. Elite demons appear, dealing more damage and boasting higher hit points. Here you should be more careful with your healing potions and avoid carelessly pulling large packs of enemies.
- Enemies: Elite demons, demon warriors, demon guardians
- Difficulty: Moderate to high
- Rewards: Better item drops, more Yang
Floor 5: The Penultimate Floor
Floor 5 is the toughest gauntlet for most players before the final boss. Heavy bosses guard this floor and the incoming damage becomes considerable. Reaching this point means you have already handled the Tower of Hell well. Potion management is now crucial.
- Enemies: Heavy demon bosses, high-grade elites
- Difficulty: High
- Rewards: Rare items appear more frequently
Floor 6: The Final Boss
The sixth and final floor culminates in the Tower of Hell's ultimate boss. This boss commands powerful attacks and abilities that will keep you on your toes. For well-equipped players it is an intense but beatable challenge. The best drops await you if you bring him down.
- Enemies: Tower of Hell final boss
- Difficulty: Very high
- Rewards: The dungeon's most exclusive drops

Solo Strategy for Each Class
Warrior
Warriors benefit from their high defence and can draw in many enemies at once. Use AoE abilities on the lower floors for a swift clear. On higher floors, pull carefully and avoid overextending.
Ninja
Ninjas rely on their mobility and high burst damage. Avoid aggroing too many enemies at once. Taking out individual elite enemies quickly with combos is where the Ninja shines in the Tower of Hell.
Sura
Magic Suras possess strong AoE abilities that are ideal for farming the Tower of Hell. Mana management is important — make sure you bring enough mana potions.
Shaman
Shamans are extremely efficient in the Tower of Hell thanks to their self-healing. The dungeon becomes a sustainable farming spot, as healing potions are barely needed at all.
Tower of Hell vs. Group Instances
The Tower of Hell's greatest advantage is complete independence. You need no group, no scheduling, no waiting. Just log in and go. It is ideal for players who want to play flexibly on their own timetable.
Group instances generally offer better drops for the same time investment, but as a regular solo farming spot the Tower of Hell is hard to beat.
