Dragon stone alchemy is a unique enhancement system in Metin2. Dragon stones are not inserted into normal equipment but are managed in their own dragon stone inventory. A set consists of seven dragon stone types: Onyx, Diamond, Ruby, Jade, Sapphire, Garnet and Amethyst.
You obtain dragon stones mainly through dragon stone fragments and Cor Draconis. From level 30 onwards, you can collect dragon stone fragments from the Alchemist and create Cor Draconis from them. From Cor Draconis you obtain raw dragon stones.
Dragon stones can be improved through class, purity and level. Mythical dragon stones can additionally be modified with the Flame of the Dragon. The bonuses only apply when the respective dragon stone set is active.
What is Dragon Stone Alchemy?
Dragon stone alchemy gives your character additional values through dragon stones. These dragon stones are in their own DSA inventory and are inserted into suitable slots there.
A complete dragon stone set consists of seven types:
| Dragon Stone | Basic Orientation |
|---|---|
| Onyx | VIT, Darkness, defensive special bonuses |
| Diamond | INT, Ice, Magic and skill values |
| Ruby | STR, Fire, Attack and Defence |
| Jade | TP/SP, Wind, Life Points and Regeneration |
| Sapphire | DEX, Earth, Class Attack and Class Defence |
| Garnet | TP/SP, Lightning, Mana Points and Regeneration |
| Amethyst | Devil, Precision, SungMa Values, Metinstones |
Access to Dragon Stone Alchemy
Dragon stone alchemy can be used from level 1 onwards. Active production through the daily quest with the Alchemist begins from level 30.
From level 30 you can collect dragon stone fragments. Ten dragon stone fragments are processed into one Cor Draconis. From Cor Draconis you obtain a raw dragon stone.
Where do you get Dragon Stones?
You obtain dragon stones mainly through Cor Draconis. For this you collect dragon stone fragments and convert them with the Alchemist into Cor Draconis.
Important terms:
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Dragon Stone Fragment | Collecting material for Cor Draconis |
| Cor Draconis | Contains a raw dragon stone |
| Alchemist | NPC for creation, enhancement and modification of dragon stones |
| DSA Inventory | Separate inventory for dragon stones |
The daily dragon stone quest can be completed multiple times per character. Dragon stone fragments have a time limit and should be used in a timely manner.
Dragon Stone Sets and Activation
You can equip up to two dragon stone sets. However, only one of them can be active.
A set is activated via the dragon stone alchemy interface. Once a set is active, the time values of the inserted dragon stones run down.
A DSA set effect becomes active when at least six dragon stones are activated. This additionally strengthens the bonuses.

The process can fail. In case of failure, the level of the dragon stone is either reduced by one or remains unchanged.

Durability and Time Extension
Each dragon stone has a usage duration of 24 hours. This time only runs when the respective dragon stone set is active.
The usage duration can be extended with Elixirs of Time. For this, the Tongs of Time are applied to an unused dragon stone. The dragon stone is consumed in the process. The extraction can fail.
Removing Dragon Stones
An inserted dragon stone can be removed. If successful, it returns to the DSA inventory. If it fails, you receive a dragon stone fragment instead.
The chance of successful removal can be increased with the Dragon Tongs. With the Dragon Tongs+, a dragon stone can be safely removed.
Binding and Unbinding
Dragon stones can be bound and unbound again. Bound items are bound to the character and cannot be traded or dropped normally.
Unbinding takes 72 hours unless a stronger variant of the corresponding item is used.
