Transformation in Metin2 – Overview

The transformation system allows players to transform into monsters and use their abilities. A transformation orb is required, which can be obtained as a random drop from certain monsters or from chests. Important: You can only transform into monsters whose level is below your own.

Transformation is time-limited and is indicated by the transformation icon in the status bar. The duration and damage dealt depend on the transformation skill, equipment and distributed status points.

Transformation Orbs

Transformation orbs are single-use items required to transform. They are dropped by specific monsters – each monster only drops its own transformation orb. Additionally, some orbs can also be found in chests.

Available Transformations

A detailed list of all transformation orbs and their effects (attack radius, affected enemies) can be viewed in the game menu. Transformations differ in their range – from frontal attacks to all-round effects that hit all nearby mobs.

Training Transformation Skill

Transformation skill can be trained from beginner to perfect master using special books:

Upon reaching Perfect Master (P), transformation duration increases from 10 to approximately 35 minutes. Regardless of skill level, it is not possible to transform without a transformation orb.

Damage During Transformation

The damage dealt while transformed depends on several factors:

Note: The attack value (6/7 bonuses) from equipment does not affect damage during transformation.

Petrification – Involuntary Transformation

Some monsters can petrify players. The affected player takes on the appearance of the monster but can neither move nor attack. The effect lasts 10 minutes but ends early if a fellow player attacks the statue.

Important: During petrification, you take no damage and suffer no status changes. All skills affecting the player are removed.

A list of monsters that can trigger petrification is available in the game menu.

Transformation Suit

The transformation suit (Metamorphosis Suit) is special equipment in the transformation system. Details about its properties and availability can be found in the game menu and item properties.
