TL;DR: The Body Warrior is offensively oriented and focuses on attack value and fast attacks. The Mental Warrior is defensively built and uses Strong Body. Both are suitable for PvM with different playstyles.

Warriors are highly melee-oriented classes in Metin2. In PvM, Body Warriors and Mental Warriors differ primarily in their focus areas: the Body Warrior relies more on attack value and fast attacks, whilst the Mental Warrior plays more defensively and can withstand more damage through Strong Body.

Warrior Class: Basics

The Warrior is a highly melee-oriented class. After specialisation, a distinction is made between Body Warrior and Mental Warrior.

The Body Warrior focuses on direct damage, attack value and fast attacks. Sword Aura supports both normal attacks and offensive skills.

The Mental Warrior places greater emphasis on defence. Strong Body increases defence value and simultaneously reduces movement speed. From Grand Master onwards, the skill also prevents knockdown.

For both specialisations, suitable equipment, weapon, hit points, resistances and appropriate bonuses are important.

Body Warrior in PvM

The Body Warrior plays offensively and directly. He gets close to enemies, builds damage through attack value and weapon, and uses his skills to defeat enemies efficiently.

Sword Aura is the core skill of the Body Warrior. It increases attack value and thus strengthens damage in PvM.

Battle Frenzy can additionally speed up the Body Warrior. The skill increases attack speed and movement speed, but also increases vulnerability to damage. Therefore, Battle Frenzy should only be used with sufficient defence, hit points and appropriate resistances.

The Body Warrior's offensive skills complement the damage. These include Three-Way Cut, Dash and Sword Whirlwind. They differ in effect, range and usage situation.

Mental Warrior in PvM

The Mental Warrior is more defensively oriented than the Body Warrior. His most important skill is Strong Body. It increases defence and makes him more resilient, but reduces movement speed.

In addition to Strong Body, the Mental Warrior has several offensive skills. These include Breakthrough, Stomp, Violent Blow, Sword Strike and Sword Circle. Sword Strike is particularly noteworthy because this skill is classified as a ranged attack.

In PvM, the Mental Warrior benefits from his stability. Nevertheless, he needs sufficient attack value so that fights do not last unnecessarily long.

Skill Distribution for Body Warrior

For the Body Warrior, Sword Aura is the focal point. The skill increases attack value and thus supports damage in PvM.

Important Body Warrior skills are:

Sword Aura has very high importance in PvM. Battle Frenzy can be powerful but should match your own equipment, because the increased vulnerability to damage can otherwise become a disadvantage.

Clear specialisation is important. Skill points should not be distributed between Body and Mental skills without a clear goal.

Skill Distribution for Mental Warrior

For the Mental Warrior, Strong Body is the core skill. It increases defence value and forms the defensive foundation of the specialisation.

Important Mental skills are:

Strong Body improves survivability but does not replace sufficient damage. For efficient PvM, the Mental Warrior therefore needs attack value and offensive skills in addition to defence.

Supplementary Warrior Skills

In addition to classic skills, there are other Warrior skills. These include counter skills, boost skills and Earthquake.

For the Body Warrior, Sword Whirlwind Boost is relevant. For the Mental Warrior, Breakthrough Boost is relevant. Earthquake can hit multiple targets.

These skills complement later development. They do not change the basic orientation of the two specialisations.

Base Stats for Warriors

For Warriors, Strength and Vitality are particularly important. The exact distribution depends on equipment, playstyle and area of use.

Strength supports damage. Vitality improves survivability. DEX can also be relevant because the value can affect attack, skill damage and evasion.

For the Body Warrior, the focus is more on attack value, weapon and offensive pressure. For the Mental Warrior, defence through Strong Body plays a larger role. However, sufficient attack value remains important for the Mental Warrior as well.

Equipment for Warriors in PvM

Equipment greatly determines how efficiently a Warrior is in PvM. Weapon, armour, hit points, resistances and appropriate bonuses are particularly important.

Weapon

The weapon is crucial for both specialisations. For the Body Warrior, it is particularly important because Sword Aura increases attack value and the build strongly benefits from own damage.

Body Warriors use mainly swords on the ground. On horseback, two-handed weapons can be relevant. Mental Warriors prefer two-handed weapons.

Armour and Defence

Armour improves defence and forms the defensive foundation of the character. For PvM, however, it is not just about the pure defence value. Depending on the enemy and area, hit points, resistances and appropriate bonuses are also important.

Body Warriors must pay particular attention to their defence when using Battle Frenzy. Mental Warriors have a stronger defensive foundation through Strong Body but also need appropriate equipment for stronger enemies.

Bonuses and Resistances

Bonuses can improve damage, survivability or resistance against certain enemies and types of damage. Which bonuses are worthwhile depends on the area, enemies and your own equipment status.

Therefore, equipment should not be evaluated only by base values. Additional values are also important for a functioning PvM build.

PvM Playstyle

Body Warriors and Mental Warriors have different focuses in PvM.

The Body Warrior benefits from attack value, fast attacks and an offensive playstyle. He should defeat enemies efficiently without neglecting his defence.

The Mental Warrior is more stable but should not rely solely on defence. Strong Body helps with survival but does not replace sufficient damage.

For both specialisations:

Common Mistakes in Warrior PvM Builds

A common mistake is to view the Body Warrior only through attack speed. Battle Frenzy can be useful but also increases vulnerability to damage. Without appropriate equipment, this disadvantage can be noticeable in PvM.

Another mistake is to play the Mental Warrior purely defensively. Strong Body increases defence but for efficient PvM the Mental Warrior still needs enough attack value and offensive skills.

Unclear skill allocation can also weaken the build. Body Warriors and Mental Warriors have different focuses. Those who distribute skill points without a clear goal lose efficiency.
