The Valentine's Day Event in Metin2 is an annual spring event by Gameforge. You hunt monsters, collect special event items – these land directly in your Event UI – and from Level 90 onwards you can pack them into bundles of 50 and gift them to other players. The event is intentionally designed to show affection to other players: items can be actively shared. You access the Event UI via the E key or the E icon to the left of your mini-map.

What is the Valentine's Day Event?

The Valentine's Day Event is one of Metin2's annual events and is part of the game's event systems. These temporary systems are only active during special events. The Valentine's Day Event is traditionally celebrated in-game around 14 February. It's thematically centred on Valentine's Day – featuring items that symbolise affection and mechanics that specifically encourage community interaction and gift-giving.

Beyond the Valentine's Day Event, there are other annual events in Metin2, such as the Easter Event, Summer Event, Halloween Event and Christmas Event. The Valentine's Day Event traditionally marks the first major event of the calendar year.

How the Valentine's Day Event Works

The process is straightforward and quickly understood, even by newcomers:

• You hunt monsters in the game world – regular grinding counts.
• Defeated monsters drop event items (kisses and hugs).
• The items land automatically in your Event UI – no manual collection needed.
• From Level 90 onwards you can pack items into bundles of 50.
• Packed bundles can be gifted to other players.

The Event UI is the central interface for all event activities in Metin2. It was integrated into the game with Update 19.1. There you can see which events are active on all servers and channels. Clicking an event's name opens its associated UI directly.

Event Items: Kisses and Hugs

The central items of the Valentine's Day Event are kisses and hugs. Both items drop from monsters and are collected automatically. The special thing: these items are giftable. You can share them deliberately with other players – either as a nice gesture in the community or to benefit together from event content.

From Level 90 onwards, the option to pack items into bundles of 50 unlocks. This makes gifting larger amounts much more efficient. Below Level 90 you can collect items, but cannot create bundles.

Using the Event UI Correctly

The Event UI is your central tool during the Valentine's Day Event. You open it by pressing E or clicking the E icon to the left of your mini-map. In the Event UI you can see at a glance which events are currently active on your server and channel. During the Valentine's Day Event, the associated UI appears there, which you can open directly by clicking the event name.

All monster drops of Valentine's items land automatically in the Event UI. You don't need to manually click items or keep an eye on your regular inventory. The system handles the management – you focus on grinding.

Valentine's Day Event and Item Shop

As with many Metin2 events, there are also Item Shop offers for Valentine's Day. The specific content of shop promotions varies from year to year and is communicated separately by Gameforge. It's worth following the official announcements before the event to avoid missing time-limited offers.

Tips for the Valentine's Day Event

These points help you make efficient use of the Valentine's Day Event:

• Aim for Level 90: Only from Level 90 onwards can you pack items into bundles of 50 and gift larger amounts at once. If you're still below that, you should level actively to unlock the full event mechanics.
• Grind actively: Event items come from monster kills. The more monsters you defeat, the more items you collect. There's no special map explicitly reserved for the event – regular farming in areas suitable for your character level is the right approach.
• Check the Event UI regularly: Keep track of your collected items. This way you quickly see when you have enough for a bundle.
• Don't forget to gift: Gifting is an explicit part of the event. Take the opportunity to share items with guild members or friend players.
• Pay attention to the event timeline: The Valentine's Day Event is time-limited. Collected items lose their purpose after the event ends. Don't hoard – use or gift them.

The Valentine's Day Event in the Context of All Metin2 Events

Metin2 offers a broad spectrum of event systems.
