TL;DR: Dragon stone alchemy in Metin2 enhances your character with bonuses through seven stone colours in six classes (Raw to Mythical). The pink dragon bean is an item from this alchemy system.

Dragon stone alchemy in Metin2 is a standalone character enhancement system that has been available in the game since version 13.3 (26 February 2013). It gives you access to seven different stone types in six classes, which equip your character with a variety of bonuses. The pink dragon bean belongs to the items within this alchemy system. Dragon stones are managed in a separate dragon stone inventory, not in your normal inventory.

What is dragon stone alchemy in Metin2?

The dragon stone alchemy system was introduced in game version 13.3 on 26 February 2013. It allows players to strengthen their character by using dragon stones. Each stone possesses bonuses that can be influenced by three different enhancement levels: class, purity and level.

Important to know: Dragon stones appear exclusively in the dedicated dragon stone inventory. They are not displayed in your normal inventory. The overview can be opened via a button in the inventory, the chat bar or a dedicated key.

With version 19.0 on 22 January 2019, Mythical Alchemy was added as an additional upgrade tier. On 26 July 2023, version 23.2 introduced the dragon amethyst as a new stone type.

The seven stone colours and their effects

There are seven different types of dragon stones, each with a different effect on the character. The six known stone types from the FAQ section of the wiki are:

Dragon stone colours in Metin2 dragon stone alchemy
Stone Type Colour Effect Area
Ruby Red Character-specific bonuses (details vary depending on class and purity)
Sapphire Blue Character-specific bonuses
Jade Green Character-specific bonuses
Onyx Black Character-specific bonuses
Diamond White/Clear Character-specific bonuses
Garnet Dark Red Character-specific bonuses
Amethyst Purple Added with version 23.2 on 26.07.2023

Each stone type has a different effect — which bonuses which stone provides depends on the class and purity level achieved.

The three enhancement levels: class, purity and level

The central mechanism of dragon stone alchemy are three independent enhancement levels. Together, they determine how much a dragon stone supports your character.

Class

The class of a dragon stone determines how many different bonuses it can have. The higher the class, the more bonuses are active at the same time. There are six classes in ascending order:

Purity

The purity level of a dragon stone increases the power of existing bonuses. A stone with higher purity delivers the same bonuses as a stone with low purity, just to a greater extent. Purity and class are independent of each other — a stone can have high purity with low class or vice versa.

Level

In addition to class and purity, each dragon stone can also be improved in its level. Increasing the level also increases the effect of the bonuses. Level is the third lever in the system and works independently of the other two levels.

Pink Dragon Bean: What is it?

The pink dragon bean (English: Pink Dragon Bean, French: Haricot-dragon rose, Italian: Chicco di Drago Rosa, Romanian: Fasole Dragon Roz) is an item that falls within the category of dragon stone alchemy in Metin2. It is part of the alchemy system and is used in the context of dragon stone enhancement.

Specific information about its exact function, drop locations or crafting methods is not currently detailed in the official wiki. What is certain: It belongs to the dragon stone alchemy ecosystem and is connected to enhancing or crafting dragon stones.

Dragon stone shards: related material in the alchemy system

In addition to dragon beans, dragon stone shards (English: Dragon Stone Shard) also exist in the alchemy system. These are also assigned to the dragon stone alchemy category and come in various variants, including the normal dragon stone shard and the enhanced dragon stone shard+. They play a role in collecting and processing material for the dragon stone system.

How do you get dragon stones? The daily quest

One of the known sources for dragon stones is the daily dragon stone quest. It is available for characters from level 30 onwards. Through this quest, players regularly receive materials and stones for the alchemy system without relying on drops or the marketplace.

This makes the daily quest particularly relevant for those new to the alchemy system: from level 30 you can actively use the system and gain initial access to dragon stones.
