TL;DR: The Metin2 Easter Raffle 2019 is a temporary Item Shop event with daily free tickets from Level 30 onwards. Every ticket guarantees a prize – either an item or a lucky symbol.

The Easter Raffle 2019 is a seasonal raffle event in Metin2 that is exclusively accessible via the in-game Item Shop. From Level 30 onwards and after completing the quest "The Biologist's Research (Orc Fang)", you receive a free ticket daily. Each drawn ticket guarantees you a prize – either a specific item that goes directly to your Item Shop storage, or a lucky symbol for the jackpot mode. The event belongs to the category of Item Shop actions within Metin2 Event Systems.

Participation Requirements: Who Can Take Part?

Basically, any account can participate in the Easter Raffle. However, there are two different ways to obtain free tickets:

In addition to the free tickets, you can purchase additional tickets per day for Diamonds (DM). An important note on timekeeping: A new raffle day begins at 04:00 AM each day.

How to Open the Raffle – In-Game Access

The Easter Raffle is exclusively accessible in-game via the Item Shop. There is no external access via the website. Alternatively, you can follow events in-game via the Event UI – you can access the window via the corresponding hotkey or the "E" symbol next to the mini-map. Through the Event UI, you can open the associated event window with a single click.

Ticket Costs: How Much Does a Ticket Cost?

Tickets are sold in packages of 5 each. There is an advantageous pre-purchase option: The five tickets for the next day can be purchased a day early at a lower price. After the first package of 5 tickets, you can purchase another package of 5 tickets on the same day.

Ticket costs for the second daily package (5 tickets)
Ticket No. Cost in DM
Ticket 139 DM
Ticket 245 DM
Ticket 351 DM
Ticket 469 DM
Ticket 569 DM

This gives a total price of 273 DM for the second daily package. The advantage of the pre-purchase is the cheaper entry price – if you plan to draw multiple tickets daily, keep an eye on the pre-sale.

What Can You Win? Possible Ticket Prizes

Every ticket guarantees a prize – this is the central promise of the raffle. There are two types of prizes:

The exact list of all possible ticket prizes and daily prizes is documented in the official Metin2 Wiki. Since the tables from the Wiki were not fully transmitted, we refrain from providing an incomplete list here.

Lucky Symbols: The Raffle's Jackpot System

Lucky symbols are the heart of the Easter Raffle's bonus system. As soon as you have collected three lucky symbols, you receive a corresponding prize based on the sum of the symbol values. Important notes:

The system gives you control over whether to accept the randomly obtained lucky symbol prize or re-roll in hopes of a better prize. Keep in mind how many DS you are willing to spend – there is no guarantee of improvement.

Raffle in Context: The Metin2 Event System

The Easter Raffle belongs to the category of Item Shop actions within the Metin2 Event Systems. In addition to the raffle, the Advent Calendar also falls into this category. The overarching event system in Metin2 includes annual events such as the Easter Event, Valentine's Day Event, Halloween Event and Christmas Event, as well as mini-games, event dungeons and other event systems. The raffle is a purely Item Shop-based format – in contrast to event dungeons such as the Treasure Island, which are played in-game.

Game Team Events, which are run by members of the official Event Team, are clearly separate from the raffle – they operate independently of the Item Shop.

Tips for Efficient Participation

Frequently Asked Questions about the Easter Raffle 2019

From what level can I participate in the Easter Raffle 2019?

Basically, any account can participate. Daily free tickets are available from Level 30 onwards, provided you have completed the quest "The Biologist's Research (Orc Fang)". Below Level 30, you receive a free ticket from day 8 onwards if you have purchased at least one ticket per day for 7 consecutive days.

How do I open the Easter Raffle in-game?

The raffle can only be opened in-game via the Item Shop. External access via the website is not available.

What happens if I have three lucky symbols but don't claim the prize?

As long as you own three lucky symbols and have not claimed the associated prize, you cannot purchase or claim new tickets. You must claim the prize first to continue playing.

When does a new raffle day begin?

A new day for the raffle begins at 04:00 AM each day. This applies to both free tickets and purchasable daily quotas.

What does re-rolling cost when I have three lucky symbols?

A re-roll costs 5 DS (Dragon Stones). You can re-roll as many times as you wish as long as you have DS – however, an improvement in the prize is not guaranteed.

Where do my prizes from the raffle go?

Items that you win through a ticket are automatically placed in your Item Shop storage. You don't need to be online at the time you win the prize.

Can I buy tickets for the next day earlier?

Yes. The five tickets for the next day can be purchased a day early at a lower price.

How many tickets can I purchase per day?

Two packages of 5 tickets are available per day, meaning up to 10 purchasable tickets per day, plus the daily free ticket for eligible accounts.
