TL;DR: Metin2 Easter costumes come as rabbit costume (male), bunny costume & Easter dress (female) in the item shop during the Easter event – each with and without bonus.

Easter costumes in Metin2 are seasonal event items exclusively available during the Easter event via the item shop. They come in two versions: without bonus and with bonus (bonus variants are usually tradeable and marked with a "+"). The costumes are class-specific – each model exists in a version for Warrior, Ninja, Sura, Shaman and (depending on the year) also for the Lycan. Since 2013, new colours and sometimes new costume types have been introduced every year.

What types of Easter costumes are there?

Metin2 basically distinguishes between three types of Easter costumes:

All three types are designed to match the respective Easter hairstyles, which are available during the same event period. The in-game preview images in the wiki always show characters with the corresponding Easter hairstyles.

All available colours by event year

Over the years, Easter costumes have appeared in increasingly more colour variants. The following table gives you an overview of which colours were introduced in which year:

Bonus vs. no bonus – what's the difference?

Each Easter costume is available in two versions:

If you're unsure which variant you need: the bonus version is worth it if you want to actively wear the costume in combat. Purely cosmetic accounts can safely opt for the cheaper version without bonus.

Class overview – who wears which costume?

Easter costumes are class-bound. This means: a rabbit costume for the Ninja looks different from one for the Warrior, even if the colour is identical. When buying from the item shop, you need to pay attention to the correct class.

Class Overview Metin2 Easter Costumes
Class Gender Available Costume Types Lycan Support (from)
Warrior Male / Female Rabbit Costume, Bunny Costume, Easter Dress 2015 (Rabbit Costume)
Ninja Male / Female Rabbit Costume, Bunny Costume, Easter Dress 2015 (Rabbit Costume)
Sura Male / Female Rabbit Costume, Bunny Costume, Easter Dress 2015 (Rabbit Costume)
Shaman Male / Female Rabbit Costume, Bunny Costume, Easter Dress 2015 (Rabbit Costume)
Lycan Male Rabbit Costume 2015

Note on Lycan: The Lycan class was only integrated into the costume system from the Easter event 2015 onwards. Earlier event costumes (2013) do not exist for Lycan.

Where and when are Easter costumes available?

Easter costumes are exclusively available during the Easter event via the Metin2 item shop. They are therefore time-limited and not available all year round. If you've missed a particular costume, you'll either have to wait for the next Easter event or – for tradeable bonus variants – search the player marketplace for a used copy.

Once the Easter event ends, the costumes are removed from the item shop. However, already purchased items remain in your inventory and can continue to be worn. The costume system in Metin2 allows you to equip costumes via the costume inventory without taking up an actual equipment slot.

Easter hairstyles as matching accessory

Matching Easter hairstyles appear for each Easter costume in the item shop – also event-exclusive. The wiki in-game images always show costumes in combination with the respective year's hairstyles (e.g. Easter hairstyles 2015 with the 2015 costumes, Easter hairstyles 2016 with the 2016 costumes). If you want to put together the complete Easter look, you should buy both items during the same event period.

Tips for buying from the item shop

Frequently asked questions about Metin2 Easter costumes

Where do I buy the Metin2 Easter costumes?

Exclusively in the Metin2 item shop and only during the active Easter event. After the event ends, they are no longer available there.

Are there Easter costumes without bonus?

Yes. Both variants – with and without bonus – are available in the item shop. The version without bonus is purely cosmetic and usually cheaper.

Can I wear an Easter costume after the event?

Yes. Already purchased costumes remain permanently in your costume inventory and can be equipped at any time. Only the purchase is limited to the event period.

Are the bonus costumes tradeable?

From the 2016 Easter event onwards, bonus variants (marked with "+") are explicitly marked as tradeable. For older vintages, it's advisable to check the item description in the shop.

Does the Lycan have Easter costumes?

Yes, but only from 2015 onwards. The Lycan gets rabbit costumes in grey, brown (new), white and pink. Costumes from 2013 do not exist for the Lycan.

What is the difference between rabbit costume and bunny costume?

The rabbit costume is the male variant (for Warrior, Ninja, Sura, Shaman, Lycan), the bunny costume is the female (for Warrior, Ninja, Sura, Shaman). The Easter dress is also female and was introduced in 2015.

In what colours are Easter costumes available?

Since 2013, the following colours have been added: black, brown, green, blue (2013), grey, brown new, multicolour, light blue (2015) and white, pink, navy and magenta (2016). The exact availability depends on the respective event year.

Do I need an Easter costume for a gameplay advantage?

Only the bonus variant (+) brings concrete stat values. The version without bonus is purely cosmetic. A gameplay advantage is therefore optional and depends on whether you purchase the bonus version.
