The latest update is just around the corner and sees TERA migrate from a 32-bit to a 64-bit client, massively improving game stability. It also introduces a new raid dungeon for 20 players, an overhaul to the RK-9 Kennel, plus loads of other changes, all coming at the beginning of August.
The most important news first – with the switch to a 64-bit game client, the system requirements will change, in particular as 32-bit systems will no longer be supported.
The recommended system requirements change as follows with patch 97:
The main advantages of the new client are:
These are just a few of the things improved with the new client. Various other changes large and small should improve both performance and stability.
With the new 64-bit client making it easier than ever to display multiple effects and players on screen at once, why not take the game straight to task and explore a new 20-player dungeon.
Mahrnak is waiting for your challenge once per week (2x for Club members) in the Commander’s Residence. Entry costs 300 adventure coins and is only possible on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (always from midnight to 11:59 PM CEST).
Look forward to new rewards including brooch etchings (level II or IV) and scrolls for altering the options on your gear!
In addition to the new 20-player raid dungeon, the RK-9 Kennel gets an overhaul as a returning hard dungeon, with one entry daily (2x for Club members)!
Assemble your star group of 5 players and take down Ventarun, Hexapleon and the raging RK-9! Again you can get your hands on etchings and option scrolls for your troubles.
