Metin2 December 2015 Raffle – Event Guide

The December 2015 Raffle is a time-limited event system in Metin2, accessible via the Item Shop in-game. Players aged Level 30 or higher who have completed the quest "The Biologist's Research (Orc Fang)" receive a daily free ticket. Those under Level 30 can also participate – but must first purchase at least one ticket per day for 7 consecutive days to receive a free ticket from day 8 onwards. Every ticket guarantees a prize, either in the form of an item or a lucky symbol.

Requirements and Participation

In principle, every account can participate in the December 2015 Raffle. However, the conditions differ depending on character level:

• Level 30 or higher: Additionally, the quest "The Biologist's Research (Orc Fang)" must have been completed before the official start of the raffle. Those who meet this requirement receive a free ticket automatically every day.
• Below Level 30: No automatic free ticket. Instead, at least one ticket must be purchased per day over 7 consecutive days. From day 8 onwards, a daily free ticket is then also awarded.

Important: The raffle can only be opened in-game via the Item Shop – external access via the website is not possible. A new raffle day begins each day at 04:00 AM.

Buying Tickets – Costs and Timing

In addition to the daily free ticket, players can purchase a limited number of additional tickets per day using Diamonds (DM). There's a handy pre-purchase option: the five tickets for the next day can be purchased one day earlier – at a cheaper price.

After these first five tickets, players have the option to purchase four additional tickets on a single day. Their costs are tiered:

Prizes: What's in a Ticket?

Each drawn ticket – whether free or purchased – guarantees a prize. The prizes fall into two categories:

• Items: These are automatically placed into the Item Shop storage of the account and can be collected from there.

Golden Tickets – The Special Lucky Strike

One of the most exciting mechanics of the December 2015 Raffle are Golden Tickets. They appear randomly when drawing and bring several advantages at once:

1. You receive a lucky symbol.
2. You also receive a regular prize.
3. Your chance of winning the daily prize doubles.

Golden tickets can also be collected. When you have collected 5 golden tickets, you can redeem them and receive one to three free spins on the Wheel of Fate. This makes actively collecting the golden special tickets particularly attractive for players who are also active on the Wheel of Fate.

Lucky Symbols – Collect for Extra Rewards

Lucky symbols are a separate prize mechanism within the raffle. Once you have collected three lucky symbols, a corresponding prize is unlocked depending on the total point sum of the symbols.

This prize must be actively redeemed – as long as it is not redeemed, no new tickets can be drawn. This is an important point that many players overlook: if you have three symbols and don't redeem, you block yourself from further ticket draws.

Additionally, if you have three symbols, you have the option to roll again if you don't like the prize. This re-roll costs 5 Dragon Stones (DS) and can be repeated as often as desired. This allows you to keep rolling until a desired prize appears – but at your own cost.

Daily Prizes and How to Win Them

In addition to the regular ticket prizes, there are daily changing daily prizes. The chance of winning a daily prize increases by drawing golden tickets, as these double the daily prize chance. Strategy tip: actively use golden tickets and draw multiple tickets per day to increase the statistical probability of winning a daily prize – especially on strong days (with attractive daily prizes), more tickets should be drawn.

The Raffle in the Context of Metin2 Event Systems

The December 2015 Raffle belongs to the category of Item Shop actions within the Metin2 Event Systems. In addition to the raffle, the Advent Calendar is also among these Item Shop-based event actions.
