TL;DR: The December 2013 Raffle is a limited-time IS action event in Metin2. Daily free tickets, purchasable tickets, blue tickets and lucky symbols offer daily winning chances.

The December 2013 Raffle is a seasonal IS action in Metin2 where players can draw tickets daily and win prizes. Every ticket guarantees at least one prize – either an item straight into the item shop inventory or a lucky symbol. The raffle is exclusively accessible in-game via the item shop and follows a daily-based system that resets daily at 04:00.

Requirements and Participation Terms

In principle, every account is eligible to participate – however, different conditions apply depending on the situation for receiving free tickets:

This makes the event accessible even to newcomers – the path to a free ticket is just a bit longer. Those who fulfilled the quest requirement in time benefit immediately from the daily free ticket.

How Do I Open the Raffle?

The raffle can be opened exclusively in-game via the item shop. There is no direct access via the event UI or other menus. The event UI (accessible via the corresponding key or the "E" symbol next to the mini-map) shows active events, but to actually participate, the item shop must be opened.

A new raffle day begins daily at 04:00. Tickets that are valid for the next day can already be purchased one day early and at a slightly lower cost – this is worthwhile if you plan to use multiple tickets.

Ticket Costs and Purchase Limits

In addition to the daily free ticket, additional tickets can be purchased per day using Diamonds (DM). The purchase system is tiered: initially, five tickets per day are available for purchase. After these first five tickets, an additional four more tickets can be purchased on a single day.

Ticket costs for the four additional tickets (after the first 5 tickets)
Ticket Number (Additional) Cost in DM
6th Ticket 45 DM
7th Ticket 51 DM
8th Ticket 69 DM
9th Ticket 69 DM

The first five tickets of the day can also be purchased the day before at a slightly lower price. Those who want to buy multiple tickets every day should use this advance option to save Diamonds.

Blue Tickets – Rare Special Chance

When drawing tickets, you may randomly encounter a blue ticket. These appear randomly and offer three advantages at once:

  1. You receive a lucky symbol.
  2. You receive an additional prize.
  3. The chance for the daily prize is doubled.

Blue tickets can also be collected. Once you've collected 5 blue tickets, you can exchange them for one to three free spins on the Wheel of Fortune. This makes collecting blue tickets especially valuable – those who play actively every day should watch out for them.

Lucky Symbols and Their Prizes

Many tickets provide a lucky symbol instead of a direct item. These symbols are collected until you have three of them. Then the following system applies:

The specific point distribution of individual symbols and the exact prize levels can be viewed in the in-game raffle overview. If you're not satisfied with your result, you can try to reach a higher points total by re-rolling – however, this is a DM/DR investment and should be used consciously.

Daily Prizes – Your Main Daily Chance

Each raffle day has its own daily prize, which every drawn ticket gives you a winning chance for. This chance increases automatically when you draw a blue ticket – then the winning probability for the daily prize doubles. The specific daily prizes vary depending on the calendar day of the event and can be viewed via the raffle interface in the item shop.

All won items automatically go to the item shop inventory – no manual acceptance in the regular inventory is required.

Classification: Raffle as an IS Action in the Event System

The December 2013 Raffle belongs to the category of IS actions in the Metin2 event system. In addition to the raffle, the Advent Calendar also falls into this category. IS actions differ from regular annual events (such as the Christmas Event or Halloween Event) and from Game Team Events in that they run directly through the item shop and typically use Diamonds as the main currency.

The overarching event system in Metin2 also includes annual events, mini-games such as the Okey Card Game, event dungeons, and other systems such as the Snowflake Event. The raffle is thus a clearly defined, in-game monetised special event with guaranteed winnings per ticket.

Tips for Optimal Participation

Frequently Asked Questions About the December 2013 Raffle
