Overview: Military in Ikariam
The military in Ikariam comprises land troops and war ships. Land troops are trained in the barracks, war ships are built in the shipyard.
Soldiers fight with swords, spears and slings and can also command war machines across the field. An upgraded barracks trains troops more quickly.
Military skills are unlocked in the Military research area and range from simple fundamentals to the levels of "Future of the Military".
Troops

Depending on the unit, a different number of units can be transported with one ship.
War Ships
War ships are built in the shipyard. They serve to defend your own port or blockade foreign ports.
