How It Works
You set priorities for each town — maximum wood production, balanced resource distribution or research focus. The Governor adjusts worker distribution accordingly and reacts to population changes automatically. When new residents arrive, it assigns them according to your preferences. This saves several minutes of micromanagement every day.
Is the Governor Worth It?
For players with one or two towns, manual management is no problem. From three or more towns, the Governor noticeably saves time. If you play Ikariam casually and do not want to redistribute workers daily, it is a sensible investment. Active players who regularly optimise their workers manually need it less.
